Shayn Smith holds 40 years experience in astrology. During the 1970s, he hosted and guested on astrological radio shows in Buffalo, New York.

Currently, Shayn practices Vedic astrology in Boulder, Colorado. He studied with Professor VK Choudhry of Gurgaon, India, propounder of Systems' Approach. He was conferred the honorary titles of Jyotish Kovid (learned astrologer) and Jyotish Visharad from the Systems' Institute of Hindu Astrology, India.

Shayn is President of the Colorado chapter of the International Institute of Predictive Astrology.

Shayn has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and has taught at several colleges. He is Past-President of the Colorado Counseling Association.
